Not sure about other stuff like car rental and hotels, but when it comes to flights Hipmunk has got you covered! Really great search and service. Sorting by agony is pure genius. Price alerts are clutch. Mobile and web experience is perfectly in harmony. Get out there and support these guys! Hipmunk rules.

The app is good but the cheapest site with rooms is getaroom, usually. The TOTALLY screwed up my weekend trip. To make long story short, they CX a reservation and I found out when i went to check in and was left with out a room!!!!! They need a lawsuit!!! But this app does help check many rates..

Cannot get the upgrade to download. It freezes up and will not complete update process. Tried to delete and re-install but cannot delete it from iPad! Very frustrating.

I liked this app last year, but lately it doesnt include information on Delta flights to my destination when I know there are several flights that are much cheaper than the American flights it shows.

Better than any other

I fly internationally A LOT, and Hipmunk has quickly become my "go to" app when planning my travel. Its layout for comparing flights is brilliant, as its graphically based. Its a much cleaner way of displaying the information, as compared to the now "long-in-the-tooth" Kayak. Its hotel search interfaces with the other major search engines (Priceline, Expedia, Orbitz, etc.), thus eliminating the need to clutter up your phone with additional apps. Its hands down the best of breed among the travel apps.

Great for searching fares and finding deals, but when it comes time to book, the app will suggest booking with their partners, like expedia, which youll definitely regret. Use hipmunk to find fares, but book directly on the airline/hotels site.

I cannot believe how much cheaper the flights were than I found on Kayak or with the airline! I found a flight for $228 which was $418 everywhere else! I will always begin my searches here from now on. I am actually obsessive about finding deals.

My new favorite travel app, especially for travel the in Europe, its easy to use and timelines for flights show you graphical maps of arrival and departure times. Nicely done.

Had this app for months. Has never worked on iPhone 6s or previous iPhone 5. Crashes upon opening. Has crashed my phone. Always use latest version. Very disappointed

I bought great fares on this app. Then, because of carrier flight changes, I needed customer support. Still looking after two weeks of calling airlines & various private travel agencies that Ive been told were the agents for this site. No luck. If youre going to use this site, make sure its a simple purchase that will never need changing or confirmation.

It took 5 seconds just to load the calendar after I added my destination. Also, I was not able to search for one way flights, so for my purposes the app was useless.

Very easy to use. I like it.

This is my go-to flight search app. I especially like the time selector to filter flights by the time of day. Wish I saw all of the same deals as I do on other sites --- it feels like some are missing sometimes (but not many!)
